Computer design (CAD software file) of your part. Creative mechanisms specialize in creating new designs from the concepts of “paper napkin design” and then turning these ideas into physical prototypes.

An injection molding tool designed to produce a CAD part. Mold tools vary depending on the stage you are in the production process. Most pre-production tools are made of aluminum while most mass production tools are made of steel. You can often use a single core format tool (MUD) to simplify the process. How fast are parts formed in injection molding? The actual production of injection molding parts is very fast (in some cases up to 1000 pieces per minute and more than 50 pieces in a single molding tool).

You can combine parts and increase the efficiency of the cycle in a molding tool by simplifying the geometry of the parts and using technologies such as hot runners to maximize the holes.

With maximum speed, you can produce millions of plastic pieces in a few days using injection molds.

The time section on the process is always the assembly and coordination of the project (without mentioning all the designs and research done to reach the injection mold stage in the first place).

How fast is the turn of the injection molding project?

It depends on whether you are talking about production prototypes or mass production prototypes.

We rotate pre-production prototypes within 1 to 3 weeks.

Pre-production prototypes are usually between 300 and 1,000 replicas made of the final production material.

Bulk production usually takes much longer (months instead of weeks) and usually consists of tens of thousands to millions of parts.

The largest sink in mass production tends to be assembled.

Injection molds produce large volumes of parts, but most people still need to assemble them manually.
